Traveling on an Empty Stomach

I’m away on a family vacation in Hawaii. Happily, everyone else is currently sleeping, but here I am wide awake scrolling through Amazon’s prime deals because I haven’t adjusted to the time difference.

After days of packing, and unpacking, and repacking (yes, regardless of how many times I’ve done this, I’m an over-packer / over-thinker), I’m excited about Prime Day deals on travel gear. Now that we are back into the grind with traveling again, I’m ready to level up our travel gear. Trying to pack a family of four into three carry-ons for ten days, I’m ready to start snagging deals on some of the best products to alleviate all of the packing madness! • Stokke Bedbox – after a 6 hour flight when my youngest should have been napping, this is looking like it is worth the price tag…however, she may not get much use out of it considering she is on the verge of being able to handle longer flights and forgo naps. I wish I would have discovered this a few years go.

• SwissGear Large Laptop Travel Backpack – I’ve been envious of my husband’s large expandable backpack that has many separate compartments. Digging through mine past all the kids’ snacks and comfort items to get to what I need on this trip has been more than enough to convince me to upgrade.

• North Face Fanny Pack / Lumbar Bag – Once upon a time I frowned upon these bags. I no longer care…I want to be hands free when I can! I’m loving the color options of this particular bag.
